hi guys, ive been trying to get 1T working with my epox 9NDAJ and some cheap tcc5 ram, but no matter what timings i try, @ 1T it will always revert the bios to 'safe mode'
I was browsing all the threads and have seen some people who have managed to run their ram @ 1T with this board and i have also tried the cpu and ram in a DFI nf3 ultra-D and the ram works flawlessly at 1T

any ideas?
thanks

i tried that too, didnt work..
apparently its a known issue with these boards that a lot of them refuse to run 1T at any timings :(

bios update?
We had the same problems with the asrock dual SATA II 939, it was eventually ixed with a bios update, aparently it had an issue with 2X1024 what sticks are you running? if anything try some smaller sizes and report back if you have some, that was a temp for for the ASROCK for a while

Have you tried with RAM sticks in black slots (3&4)?

yeah the black slots seem to work a lot better than the purple ones... and the ram still o/cs well @ 2T.. tried several bioses and they seem to be doing the same thing... tomorrow ill test some different ram (when it comes back from rma) which might do the trick
