asus a8v deluxe mobo

Hi,

I have the above stated mobo and am running bios 1007 which is outdated...

I wanted to update the bios but I do not have a floppy drive....

I have tried with AWDFLASH tool but no luck....

I also tried burnt bios 1017 as an image and tried booting it from cd but no joy

Are there any ways around this?

for anyone who wants to know there is an updater prog on the asus website that lets you do it....
