I am planning on getting a Antec P180 as the case for my new pc, but ive heard that there are a few issues with where the power supply is posiitoned and this can cause problems with the cables from the psu reaching the mobo, fans etc.
Iam planning on getting one of these three power supplies:
Enermax Liberty 500W ELT500AWT ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV
Tagan TG580-U15 580W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU
but im not sure which one to get. So which one would be the best to get for the P180? Or should i go for a differnt case like the NZXT Lexa or even a Thermaltake VA8000BWS Armour Super Tower. Or any of case that offers good air flow and cooling.

i havent heard of any issues so far of the psu cables not being able to reach the mobo in the p180, but heard about some problems with the door of the case. i would just go with an armor.

You will need long PSU cables for the P180. From my experience all Antec and PCP&C PSU's reach, but I don't know about those you have selected. You might want to see to if you can find the specs (i.e. length of cable) of one of those two PSU brands and compare them to yours.

My PC P&C reaches all in my V2000 which is huge and even further than you P180.

Buy a 'silverstone ATX extension lead' (£4.95 iirc) (google is ur friend!) and that will extend without problems. Depending on what motherboard you have and where the 4 pin 12vATX power plug is you may get away with using most PSU's. I have both a DFI ultra D and A8n32 with a Hiper R 580w and Enermax liberty620w. The extension lead is required for both PSU's on the Asus (ATX top left) board but both fit fine with the DFI board (middle right).
Hope this helps.

The cables on the OCZ Psu's will work as well.

The cables on the Enermax should reach OK, at least mine did. I used an Asus A8R-MVP board.

well ive got my P180 and i got the Tagan, the cables are fine but ive moved that 120x120x38mm fan to the top hard drive bay and removed that.
Can i fit a fan in the bottom hard drive bay but keep my hard drives in there or isnt it possible?

its possible, ive done it. i have a 120mm fan in there, but to do that u need to remove part of the metal that the hdd bay screws into. or u could use a 92mm fan

I have this case, and the Hyper 4 pin is too short on a board that has it located near the top (Abit Fatality an8-sli, and Asus deluxe & premium). The OCZ Modstream reaches...but the thick cable sheathing makes it tough to feed it through the hole + it's a tight squeeze across the VGA area. I ended up running with an Antec NeoPower - and it reached just fine. Figured an Antec case + Antec PSU made sense - and I was right.

I had a liberty enermax, fit great!!!
Now I have a zippy 700w, BARELY fits, had to take out the fan and do some ugly cable managment, but it works.
