I received a tecumseh ae150at compressor today.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=45401&stc=1&d=1143885498

the specs are r12, 1/4 hp, but only rated at 820btu/hr

will this be ok for a single stage unit cooling about 150watts holding a load of -40c on evap?

also does this compressor looked used?

i added more pictures under attachments at the bottom.

i also feel kind of weird about this compressor because it was packaged upside down when I received it from fedex.

anyways, most likely this will be used for my secondary single stage unit. i hope to build this unit along side jinu117 while he helps me out with the primary single stage unit first w/ a danfoss compressor and chilly1 block.

yes, remember this numbers are for R12.
with R22 or 402A is another story.

looks like a compressor that has sat on the shelf for a while...
But It does look new, when I get a compressor from a distributor they look like that, or come in a crate/box. those look like factory plugs that they come with, (look at the suction or discharge line to see if there is any solder on them.)
