I wish I had that kind of C1. My 1.8A C1 is a dud. This is the only REAL stable speed, which needs 1.75V :(:

WTF??!
Since when does 1.2GHZ = a Dud chip?
Yes, what a §§§§ty 67% overclock

Well I don't consider it a bad overclock, but I was hoping for more. I also wanted it to hit 3GHZ at a lower voltage, so I could run it daily at that speed. No way in hell I am going to run this P4 at 1.75V daily, too scared of S.N.D.S. I am still going to search for another one of these babies that can do higher, like jdmcnudgent's 1.8A C1.

Nice overclock..........
and
FOOK INTEL ! WHY THE FOOK do they sell all the good chips to FOOKING DELL ????
If you're still wondering....browse any overclockers forum. You will see that all the best C1 1.8A's are in Dell's.

buy the budget rig for $569, remove the 1.8 and sell it on Ebay with a 1.7 Celeron (newegg $55) You'd probably get ??? $450??
So get the 1.8 for $120??

This might be a silly question, but how can you tell the difference between a 1.8 b and c p4?, It's oem, so is there markings on the cpu that indicate what cpu it actually is?, I heard somewhere that the default voltage is different but not sure. Also if anyone can tell me how to identify a retail "c stepping" 2.4 gig cpu, that would be sweet, either from the box itself or the cpu, cause I can pick and choose my cpu's, one of those lucky guys.

different default voltages mate ... 1.5V for the B0 and 1.525V for the C1

Cool thanks, voodoo|minion, guess you have to look at the aluminum cap itself to determine the voltage, will keep that in mind when looking at some 2.4b's on tuesday.

or you can just look at the motherboard boot up when it will show the cpu's default voltage... but then if it aint a C1 you will have lost your money
