Hi guys,

I'm experiencing some FSB problems with my "new" P4GD1 mobo.

My GeiL memory modules are able to hit fsb 270 (did that in my Abit IC7-G mobo), but with P4GD1 I'm stuck at 250-251 fsb. Why is that?

I boot at fsb 168 and i've locked pci-e at 116. Then I use Systool to set multiplier at 11 and raise fsb/ram at 1:1. At fsb 250 cpu hits approx 2750, with 1,5 v.

Shouldn't I be able to go higher? Whats holding me back?

And.......... should I use a divider?

Consider yourself lucky for going upto that FSB. Some of them do not reach it... :)

I had about 260 but I was limited to the PCI-E bus cause it constantly freezed when I tried above 121mhz.

I am also limited to about 260 fsb with 120 pcie. What I do to get past this is use clockgen to adjust your pcie higher in windows. I have gone to 150 with no ill effects and so far have gotten up to 280 fsb. No mods.
