Just spent a load of cash on a 550w psu and water cooling kit. Great temps @ 35C. the problem is i cant get the fsb above 159!!
even with the 5:2:1 divider. I am running samsung pc2700 mem so i cant see what the prob is. p.s. ive set the multiplier to 11.

when i set the fsb to 166 starts to boot then resets with blue screens of death.

my system -

amd xp2100, kx7-333r, watercooling, 512mb samsung pc2700, soundblaster 5.1 live, leadtech ti4200 128mb, 2X maxtor 60 gig raid 0.

ack. that sounds just like me.

i have watercooling, a kx7r and 2x512mb samsun D step 2700.

my max FSB is about 188-189. i had to slack my ram settings for that and give the ram about 2.75vcore. 2.85 doesn't stablize it about 190. at 190 i get BIOS checksum errors.

i put AS3 on my NB cooler. that prolly helps. the board is solid though. unless yours is defective, you can get to 200mhz with good ram and PCI/AGP devices.

YEAH! samsun 2700!! my sammy would not run at 166mhz with 2.55vddr. it would only do it at 2.75vddr.
