k im buying the following and there will be this rig inside

x2 4400 / 3800 not sure which ill use ill see oc results first should have same temps neways
dfi nf4 ultra-d
74gb raptor - will get a 2nd shortly
ocz powerstream 520w
sapphire x800gto'
2gb platinum eb

dvd rom- dvd burner - floppy

this is the case I plan to purchase... and the water cooling im thinking of getting

lian-li pc65(plus)
-black ice micro(80mm)
-ddc-12v rev2 "plus"
-low profile acetal maze4
-switchtech storm/mc6002-64
-silenx ixtreame x4
-Danger Den Dual 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir
-15' tygon
-invisible blue dye
-mct-5

yeah so id have 2x 80mm front intake and a 80mm overhead exhaust and the radiator would be on the back with a 80mm on it maybe 2?

idea is to use the ixtrame to have a dead silent pc

oh yeah im basically wondering if the cooling would be sufficant

the cpu will be oced to 2.5- 2.7

and the video card will remain at stock

should have posted in the watercooling section.

anyways. I wouldn't recommend running a single 80mm radiator, especially if you want decent temps with low noise. With a cpu and video combo like that, you will need at least a BIP2 or BIX2. With 2 120mm fans you could undervolt them and get it really quiet.

the 1x80mm Rad will be pretty marginal unless you want delta's to be 15-20c

a nice 1x160mm rad like the PA160 would be a big step up, but your fannage would be very limited

if you really want a quiet cooling pc with a lot of capacity the best choice is a 3x120mm low airflow rad like the BIP3 or PA120.3 and some fans that meet your needs i.e. yate loons.

you could always mount the rad outside the case like switech does

http://www.swiftnets.com/products/MCB-120-R2.asp

and mount either a big PA160+shroud+120mm fan to it or a 2x120 fan

or if you are more enterprising you could mount it to the top outside or something along those lines
