Wake up at about 2 pm check USPS confirmations. 2 packages delivered. I find 2 opened boxes in my hallway. only thing in them is eggshells and a hardware mounting kit for a swiftech block.........The other box was supposed to have ram in it. So anyway I have an idea who did it. If the police don't follow up and you guys don't here from me for awhile its because I took matters into my own hands..........

well there apparently was one person in my hallway today that does'nt live here, etc my sister in laws friend.......shady character..... he knocked on door but she didn't want to be bothered so she didn't answer which would have given him the impresion no one was home......

USPS always leaves mail without signature. Unless you request it.

its the post offices fault. They cant just leave you packages in the hallway. I've had the same problem with ups. And im in the process of getting my money back.

Ups is different, they require a signature for everything.....but in reality they dont.

My ups guy leaves everything, same with fedex, doesnt bother me cause i have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than haveing something stolen off my porch.

i used to live in an apartment while in the military. Try haveing something delivered to an apartment where ups leaves it in the hall and you dont get home for another day. I dont know how i got so lucky as to have nothing stolen.

Yeah, funny thing is i live in a pretty upscale apt. Theres porshes and $100,000 cars under some of the carports. Why must the rich steal? Beats the hell out of me.

Aww man chew....just saw this and I am REALLY sorry man...I shoulda got signature confirmation. I will from now on...Hopefully you can find out who did it. If ya need it, and don't find the guy, I'll refund ya some of the cost of the swifty block cause this just blows! :mad:

Whats even worse is I bet he didn't even know what it was!

Don't feel too bad, 2 years ago my car that I paid for MYSELF got vandalized 2 weeks after I got my liscense...and they TOTALED it! got 200 bucks out of it...

Ok post office asked me to get this from you, I guess i can handle it on my end. Apparently you need to send me a copy of the online record label and shipping history.

Unfortunately i'm SOL on the $125 i spent on the 2x512mb tccd ram i got from dogsx2.

In Germany you have to sign for everything. Or is you aint home, they sometimes give the paket to neighbours which is no problem at all.

actually that is not true. i know. sometimes the local postguys use our
place to store their stuff. oh and whatever courier service there is, they
just dump our parcels/packages/whatnot in a safe place on our premises
- without our signing off for it!
the regular post even offered to install a new lock (and pay for all) to
store their stuff in our shack...

depends. you can always ask them to do that, and once you did they do
that from then on until you tell them not to anymore. sometimes they
even dump stuff there, when someone of us is around and could sign off
for it. depends if the delivery guy is in a rush or not (mostly is). but when
he pushes the package at me, i need to sign off - funny, eh?
