well I hope you got your dose of snobery you needed, I too looked at the photos and after seeing how obscure and blurry the magic number was I concluded that you're upper post was a perfect example of how NOT to treat some one, WTF? I had to shove my face up to the monitour on the clearest pic to be "just" barly able to read the lable.

a simple yes or no would have surficed.

To answer your question hound, from what I was barly able to read on the fuzy picts he so heralds as the source of all clear info Yes they are.

05-19-2006, 04:21 PM
I have to agree with Jort here, personally I'd like to see the LCD behind smoke plexi, like on the Mach2 Lian Li kit, as it looks more proffesional IMO. Nitpicking aside, great work littledevil :toast:

I think if the face plate was part of the unit instead of just being glued on it would look better.

Ssilencer
05-19-2006, 04:28 PM
Well, you are right Carz0r, but you have to remember that we can't ship cases as face plates, lol! at least not included in the package!!!

Also, I think it's a good solution for that people that cut the holes for displays with his teeth, not the case of littledevil, but you can see a lot of "ugly holes" around

is this system with a NL11F and r507as well? I hope you have a very very powerfull fan (150cfm+) on it or else I think the compressor will have a short lifetime. that condensor has less capacity then a stock prom condensor so discharge pressures will rise above 15bar very often.

I find identical units often have very different charges. I dont think we will ever be able to simply give it a static charge and be done.

1-2 grams can make a massive difference at times.

98g of charge hey, little more than the commercial units which is what I would expect, jin said he puts similar amounts of refrigerant into his units.
be interesting if for your next build if ya charge with that same amount unit gets good temps and holds load. :toast:

Kayl I dont think we will ever be able to charge on weigth. I have had systems very similar with very different charges. Unless you can get the units absolutely identical I dont think it could be done and still have every unit running as good as it can.

Even 1gram up or down can make a massive difference in my experience.

Yes agree with that, in that unit is about 115g for 402 and it works very well.

spot on:toast:
LD ya need either the 32m run and also dual 32m run to make sure ;)
small runs dont load system much at all.
for the vmods the vmem and nb are easier as have IC to solder to.
but vcore and vdroop tinny resistor and capacitor mods i find harder.
i need thinner wire and that mag lamp to do mine ;)
hard to see the small stuff, and get a good join so not to break off later.

So littledevil, I'm very insterested in your units. I'm definetly not a n00b but I've never done the step towards phase change, my only concern is always condensation, I thought about one of those aseteks or others, but I don't like their method of avoiding condensation.

I think you are using other methods tho avoid it, what are they? please let me know, maybe I will change my mind and buy one of yours.

The compressor is a GK151P for R410A so i think he will use R410A.

What gas will you use?

Probably r402a, but i will try both r402a and r410a to see the difference.
