just wondering if this would work correctly, or if i'd have issues with unbalanced cooling ability. i know I have to have an identical metering device for each evaporator(in my case bc5 capilary tubing, .028), but does it matter if I have one suction line for the two evaporators? (insulation porblems aside)
Here's a diagram so you can get the feel of what i'm trying to do, generally I see poeple using seperate suction lines with a 'T" much closer to the compressor:

feedback appreciated :)

something tells me the way you have it laid out wont work properly...
the way ya have done the suction lines should work, but maybe not the capillary line entryas drawn.
you would need to have it flexible though maybe to mount easier and may take some time to get piping the correct length to line up with the cores

yea, i'm really not sure how I want the cap tube to enter the evap yet, on my CPU evaps i"ve always had the cap tube run down the suction line because I find that it's quite easy and looks clean, but I don't know if my bc5 (smallest I could find locally) would be flexible enough to have 2 cap tubes in one 3/8 line and then both make a 90 degree turn x2 to the evaps, might get a bit tricky. also, i do know that getting the spacing for the evaporators between cards might be tricky, but i"d like to give it a go, I've seen people do it with watter blocks, but tygon is much more flexible than a 1/2"OD corrugated stainless pipe w/ 1/2" insulation ^_^

@ Quintus:
i'm not 1005 sure, but is that a "T" for the cap tubes or something? having a single cap tube flow into a reservoir of sorts and having two shorter cap tubes run out of it near the evap? if you could give a further explanation of what that is it would be much appreciated :)

dunno y i cant edit
the bottom 1 is cap ''in'' and the 2 are taking likuid freon hopefully and bringing it to the evaps. the square is acctualy a longer piece of cu that close the 3 caps together.
