My best bet would be to go to a hardware store.

the kind that require nuts right? just a machine screw.. any decent ma n pa hardware store would have them, just take either the BT with you or one of the screws from the BT. Heck if need be, get ready rod.

Take the flange off to the HW store and get some matching short philips head self-tappers(got to go through fan too so MEASURE ), along w/ skinny phillips screwdriver (to go through top holes).

Use regular screwdriver to start them, then back them out, put fan on and screw em down tight.

Use 'normal' method to mount fan grill on top.

This is how I mounted my empty fan as a spacer. Works FINE!
