Is it just me, or is that a big white nothing?
Methinks your pic is not working good. 1GHz overclock does feel nice though, I just did it last week myself :D. Gives you a really nice feeling.

Very nice!
How do you get your system temp at 4 degrees? Where did you have your pc when you shot this? :)

Very very nice, charlie.
I haven't seen many 2.66 oc that high with straight aircooling.
Nice memory scores too.
Wish I could try that chip on my prommy.

Jupiler,
If Belgium was next-door, you could come over and borrow it kind of like a cup of sugar... ;)
This chip, on Prommy...ddr500/3760 I'm sure.

Well,
cool temps make a HUGE difference in OC. When it's 10C outside, I can hit only 3560?? maybe. When it's 3C outside, boom 3660.
With rig in window sill of course ;)

BTW, keep an eye on this forum :) I have a new mobo that will be here on Wed. along with new memory. It's a board that's not been seen around these parts yet. I'll wait until I judge it's performance before I tell what it is ;) , and ALSO I've picked up a Swiftech MCW50-t tec block for the R9700 AND a Swiftech MCW5000-t 226w setup for the CPU. It's their latest and greatest stuff and with -10C water, it should rock.
My new goal for this 2.66 is 3860mHz for Sandra/ screenies,
and 3760 for PCMark 2002 and 3600 for 3dMark. A 19,900 3dMark2001 score would be the highest 2.66 on the ORB (I'm at 19048 now) and ditto for 6200 on the ORB. After I'm through maxing this 2.66, I'll do the new 3.2/Canterwood Mobo like the day it comes out.
188fsb (3760) = 501ddr
193fsb (3860) = 516ddr
right now I can do 488ddr on air, and I think the rig is chip limited right now, so with sub-zero temps...we'll see.
I WILL tell everybody that my new mobo will make 4000+ Sandra mem scores at only 170-180fsb :D

In testing my new GEIL PC3700, I noticed Sandra mem benchies are the same with cas2, 6,3,3 compared to cas2, 5,2,2.........
Is this normal? Where will the tighter timings help me?
