Not too bad, lots of running around makes and small zones leaves you waiting at a load screen for most of the game.

The graphics are good, and pathing seemed to be fine. Its pretty much having to fight and figure your way out of the jail.

If this games voice over was done by anyone other than Vin then it would have failed. Im not a big Diesel fan but he did a great job in his part.

Interaction with charecters is limited and should have been done better, picking a fight most of the time is on accident.

When you mess up you are gunned down by the automated security system and returned to your cell. All weapons are removed from your charecter.

I was able to complete the game with no problems, the boss mobs get progressivly harder and no defects in fight programming found.

Dialog with charecters could have been better as the game progressed, getting the same old response gets very lame.

This game is gets a thumbs up for playability and plot, not a rip for for $40 bucks. Graphics are decent and runs smooth. About 12 hours of game play to finish the game.

I forgot to mention;

This game was a major PITA to install, I ended up using the DVD hack to get past the system reboot problem at splash screen. Something so simple prevents the game from playing. Part of the problem is patching and what version you have. It seems some UK versions were sold in the US, some US versions sold over sees and editors cut all are different patch versions. If you install wrong patch it fails and you need to complete remove and reinstall the game.

Pitch Black's plot and atmosphere was great compared to Chronicles. Of course it lacks all the holy-moly effects and staff, but heck it was done with $8mill (1/50 of Chronicle's budget!). Nice game, the plot fits in between Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick, so it adds to the saga :)

This game is damn good,the GFX are more than decent,they use a new shader method that even top end cards have trouble keeping up with lol.

Story was good,sound was good,gameplay is great.You will need a good system to run it though...but this is Xs...so you guys got that part handled lol.

Not based on the Doom3 engine at all in fact. Definitely worth beating on the hardest setting at least once, and it rewards players who seek to make it harder on themselves. IIRC, it is still the only engine that natively supports HDR and AA at the same time. I give it an 11/10. One of my personal favs.
