There is one of these crunching programs that are suppose to take advantage of the video card isnt there?

Yes you're right, I think it was F@H though and I'm pretty sure they're still beta-ing that code.
Don't tell me you're gonna leave our party now and go join F@H's instead :p:

It sounds like you might have it set to crunch only when the rig is not in use, which I think is the default.
If that wasn't your intention you can set it to crunch always by clicking the COMMANDS menu and selecting both RUN ALWAYS and NETWORK ACTIVITY ALWAYS AVAILABLE. Alternatively you can set these options in your profile via the rosetta website.
