:woot: go XSTM looks as if the recruitment drive is paying off. Although have LBM reupped production as from their recent average credit they look about to overtake us again :S.

But most importantly is that this competition is making the BBQ come increasingly closer

GO XSTM and GO XS :toast:

IF LBM could get those P4 service installs figured out, theres is no way we would hold a candle to them. Does rosetta service need internet to set up? If not, try installing under safe mode. Keep it up until we get the cows.

If those service installs would work PY222 would feel it. I dont think you can install in safe mode ...... although I have a few ideas how to get them to work right. Seems impossible and a limitation of the Boinic Client and Rosetta. Anyhow
we got something bigger brewing.

Production will dip off quite a bit before week's end... then we'll move into phase 1 of the "something bigger". ;)

I would call this the "calm before the storm"
Knowing you two guys it's a Category 5 hurriciane!
Are those pallets of xeon machines in this "storm"?:D

xeons = p4 ... so I imagine they will do the same BS. Probably when we get the chance.... devote some power to the folding @ home team.

Would the regular install work?

Gotta talk to a few people.. there's a ghost of a chance that 280 P4 2.4s where I work could be.. er.. "borrowed"..

But if the client install is grief (and won't happen with Novell's Zenworks), then I can forget it.

I could PROBABLY get my school to agree, but I'd feel odd. "Hi, Fr. James, is it OK if I install a program that uses spare cpu clocks to help fight diseases?"

Wow! XS is gathering 1/4 million/day. My x2 3800 is out while I swap CPUs about, but "avatar", my "little" Venice, is running 24/7... nearly got 4k since Friday night. :)

Come on Mod, just pimp R@H to him like you've gotten so good at pimping DIMES. :D

DIMES is easier to pimp because I can get some guys around here to get going on it. As far as rosetta goes, antipop said his new mac mini will be runnin 24/7, so once he makes a thread about it, I'll send him a pm. I'll start to pm some of the random slackers on this forum. I'll try.

:woot:

My "little" Venice (181272 avatar) just crossed the 5000 mark, in about 140 hours roughly. It's a staunch warrior, hasn't heated more than 35C (WC) since it went 24/7. I feel almost sorry that it's being swapped out for a x2 3800 soon. Best s754 chip evah! :toast:

:woot: II - combined total for my part-time x2 3800 and the f/t Venice passed 10,000. :)
