Hey guys,
Just wanted to say that I am really impressed with the team lately. We've had a crazy amount of enthusiasm lately, and spectacular teamwork. If someone has a question, responses and help have been coming fast and furious from all members.
The encouragement and friendly competition, both between subteams and individual members has also been quite fun, and has been really good for bolstering morale of the team as a whole.
I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks to each and every one of you, as you all make this a heck of a lot of fun! :toast:
Onward and upward!!! :woot:

I think I might be able to get at least one of the guys down the hall from me to join. I was just telling about everything, like the competition between us and LBM, how DPC is planning a stampede and we're trying to beat them before they start that and hopefully negate their efforts in that, and DDT's offer, and he seemed to be really interested in it. He's got an Intel dual-core, and just won a 3200+ and an ASUS mobo.
I'll have to check in with him tomorrow. :hehe:

We havent added a machine in more than a month :) Looks like we gave you guys a kick start back to rosetta.
I think you will have your guys' revenge as..... I am sick of P4 service (if you havent noticed). As they get stuck .... our output will dwindle. Ive decided to wipe them clean until a solution can be found ..... might switch them over to some other project even. Although this will mean something even more important than just LBM's stats ........ we are talking a lot of daily production for the team it is quite a huge chunk. Cant really give you guys an estimate since they have always been erratic at best. I do know if every one of them stayed running we'd prolly have a RAC over 30K.

Maybe you guys can approach our F@H team and offer to trade machines with them. Your P4s running F@H for them, and their AMDs running R@H.

Thanks for the warm sentiment trakslacker...A few observations. I have a rather large farm of CPU's. There is no question that AMD clearly outperforms Intel with Rosetta; HOWEVER, I have several P4's cranking out good numbers. I have noticed that (3) of my P4's all OC'd at 3.6Ghz output huge differences. The P4 with the very fast Ballistix Ram (2-2-2-5) outshines all with about 580 WU's per day. It is obvious to me that the faster the Ram, the greater the output, assuming all else the same.
I know, I have the exact same Mobo, same OC, etc, the only difference bewteen them is my Ram. From very fast 2-2-2-5 to 3-4-4-8.
580 vs 350 vs 300
