Man, we got ALOT of people. Welcome all. BTW, if you guys have an uncapped ethernet connection, run DIMES. Uses no cpu power and runs great with rosetta.

Free-DC has taken notice of us because in there rosetta section there is a "We're loosing ground thread". DPC doesnt seem to care, so they'll be scared when they cant match our production.

Free-DC has taken notice of us because in there rosetta section there is a "We're loosing ground thread". DPC doesnt seem to care, so they'll be scared when they cant match our production.

I think we can make 350k per day. Let's see what happens, you guys are getting closer everyday....

Yeah I know, thats the first and formost goal obviously, we're a part of XS first then XSTM. I just figure if LBM and XSTM continue to race like we have been, then that helps production of XS as a whole and thus helps us charcoal those cows. I was just trying to get the Competitive juices flowing, didn't mean anything by it man.

Actually I wasnt aware of a race between XSTM and LBM? Can you imagine our output if the service would keep running on p4's. Im thinking as of right now it would be in 35K - 40K range. Since we are only two people it cuts down on the time we have to re start them.

yeah I gotcha, I tried messing with a service install on my sister compy and I can't get it to even install right...seems that that installation is somewhat buggy . but what can ya do eh...Hopefully they can improve that in the future....

And by a race I just mean that we are always trying to improve and you guys are a great inspiration to our efforts. Yall are some crazy crunchers, and seeing your guy's output (and DDTUNG's and many others!) just motivates me that much more. Keep up the awesome work, and stock up on ur propane....you're going to need it!

Rosetta takes a little bit of time to get used to, and some of the options don't make sense right away. Don't get discouraged, though. Just keep hangin around this forum a fair bit and reading through some of the stickies and it will all fall into place. :)

Again, if you have any questions, feel free to ask and we'll get you helped out as quick as we can.

Wow, we got a lot of people, this is great.

I also signed up a couple of my college friends, so you can add a 3500+ @ 2.4 Ghz and a 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz to The Machine's arsenal. And guess what... fully dedicated crunching for them for the next week or two because my friends are going on spring break and leaving their computers behind.

With all you guys, we are really gonna show those Cows not to threaten XS...

Finally got caught up on my sig :D
