Does anyone else own a EVGA 7900GT CO and checked their clocks? Mine say the core is only at 450....But its advertised to be a CO with 500mhz core stock. What is wrong here?

When are you observing the 450?

500 is 3D Perf mode :fact:

my XFX have same cloks in 2D and 3D (520/1500)

Your right mascaras. 2D is the same as 3d....both read stock core and mem for the 7900GT and are not reading the 7900 EVGA GT CO of 500 core. Can anyone else with the same card confirm this?

sometimes they just pretend like it was a mistake, my first BFG 7800gtx OC was underclocked and i had to send it back

i just suppose that 90%+ of owners will never know or care, so they dont bother to make sure all that are marked OC, XXX, etc are actually clocked high

there is a bios rev to fix this i believe

try looking around here and see if you find one for your card.

Im gonna give newegg hell soon. They are very good with this. But I was pretty annoyed when I saw it was stock and claimed to be at 500mhz...If anyone can help with this please let me know.

Cronis thats not a normal EVGA CO BIOS thats a CO Superclock. Any idea of what BIOS the regular EVGA CO use with 500mhz core?

EVGA will cover a bios flash, just flash to the superclock and see if the card runs stable...then ur golden...

Im done with flashing...Jus flashed my dfi expert to more recent 7/12 bios and it corrupted my OS and now I cant even reinstall windows....I keep getting error loading OS message, Someone please help....

Anyone else notice that all the 7900 series cards at Newegg are out of stock? I ordered a eVGA 7900GT tonight and when I did they had 5 left but I just got an email saying they are now out of stock. So I went to the website to check it out and all brands of 7900 GTs and GTXs are now listed as out of stock. Wonder what's up?

Anyway, pivo, very odd there. Do the model numbers on the box and card match?
