Reading some of the threads it seems to me that there is a lot of maintanence required w/ liquid cooled systems. Is there actually a lot of maintanence required and if so, what is required.

I change my water w/ my tubes ever 9 months. And I change my tubes because I run tap water.

Wario? Nah he was just cause its the only gameboy (ORIGINAL GAMEBOY) game I ever play. :)

I just find tap water useful. Its fine and its not to hard in my area.

Tap water is fine as long as it isnt very hard. You will have to open up your block and clean it out though man, because there will be some build up in there if you arent using an anti corrosive additive.

or at lease boil tap water before using, as bigval says use some anti corrosive additive

Best low maintance cooling liquid I have found is the 95% distilled & 5% Valvoline (Zerex) Super Coolant Mix. I change my clearflex tubing & fluid once a year! NAPA Auto parts sells the Super Coolant. Part # VV858 :)
