I too think that they are valid points, just don't hold your breath for getting credit for bugged WUs.
I wish they could put in a safety net of some sort for WUs that go over time by say a factor of 3 or 4. Yeah, that would be wasting 4 to 6 hours on a 2 hour WU, but it would save us from having to babysit our machines. I have recieved many WUs of late that get stuck, even rebooting and restarting them is not helping (just burns up more dud cpu cycles).
I am guessing that I am not alone in this recent rash of dud WUs getting stuck at 1%....

you definatly got that right we never had to baby sit our d2ol results. nothing ever got stuck or at least that i was aware of. but they should have a system of weeding out the bad work units or slap up a notice weather it be on their site or on something else that FLX WU XXXXX to FLX WU XXXXX so we know that they know or that they somewhat care about the results they are getting.

I aborted 8 hours worth of work on a dud today too, glad it wasn't 18 or even more but what Dave is doing is taking the fight to the creators. Fighting for recognition of cpu time. his points are rock solid and the baker people aren't saying anything. As a matter of fact when a message sent to the big dog at baker labs, David Baker goes completely unanswered, what hope do you have. There is no safety net in place and that :banana::banana::banana:s I like how they blame OUR networks!:slap:

Unfortunately this is one of many problems with Rosetta... And it's hard to keep and eye on all my agents (For example... I had a WU on a PC that had been stuck for 682 hours.... that's a bit excessive...

^^ I'm actually hoping I have one of those myself and that it will snap out of it soon - one of my rigs hasn't checked in for over two weeks...thank god it's the p3 :p:
