i saw these little buggers and now wondering... hmm.. ?

i could fab up some little copper base to cover both set of regs. You think a couple of these would be able to keep em cool?

reason im looking at these is my water loop is probably going to be getting hot with my peltier + 1900xt idea ive go brewing.

I dont think you will get any benefit from cooling your Vregs less than 50*c

As for those pelts, without any specific specs its hard to tell if they will be able to cool a vreg or not.

well the thing is they get up to 70C with an 80mm jammed under there. If i could bring em down to 50c that'd be awesome. I think im gonna buy em since its just $17 for 10. im sure i can find SOMETHING to do with 10 peltiers. :D

or I'm sure you could buy some cheap eBay 256Mb BH5 and then make a RAM cooler out of em

LOL you go on ebay RIGHT now and type in BH-5 you will get nothing lol EVERy bit of old school BH-5 has BEEN SOO SOO SOO hard to get for the last 1.5 years it isnt even funny...TRUST me i was looking high and lol and 500 buxs for a gig...was just crazy...i just about fainted when UTT came out...

uh? i could've gotten kingston bh5 2gigs for 160 euros tops. that were
2x 512mb sticks that did 270-5-2-2-2. and there's plenty out there, just
not on ebay, but in forums. there were some sold around here not too
long ago, maybe a month for like 180$ or stuff..
or 1gig of bh6 for 120euros.. was tempted, but didn't buy, have to save
my moolah for important buys :) like upcoming processors and the likes..
