Quite the feat I must say considering page 1 consists of mostly merged pc's and ahem cheaters (cough cavidor)

Now are you SURE you don't want to put that wonderful new chip on XSTM? :D
Anyway VERY NICE work :woot:, hopefully I can join you in a week or 2 :D

Hmmm Not to say you don't know what your doing but cursed memory controllers are easy to blame when in fact incorrect drive strengths or Motherboards without the proper amount of memory tweaks are used. What i usually do is tweak in my timings and settings memtest stable well above what i intend to run at (Etc 2gig plat EB at 265 very tight timings)then downclock to my intended speed which in the case of my rosetta rig is 250 fsb memory for OCZ 2 gig plat EB's and as you can see my rig rarely errors( 1-2 errors a month which could be the Wu itself) and is quite stable. This method 90% of the time nets 100% stable windows.

Chew* your results speak for yourself.. i dont know what im doing.. but then again overclocking to me is the nature of tinkering... explain this scenario ex2 can relay nearly the same scenario
2 months of running perfectly stable OCCT SP2004 R@H stable @ 2600mhz with RAM @ 240 2.5-3-3-7 (crappy corsair).. then one day the reboots start.. then OCCT testing begins and lo and behold 2600 fails 2500 fails.. and so on till 2010mhz and it still fails.. then 2000mhz works just fine... me thinks its a memory controller issue..but i cant afford to take the hit on R@H to stop it and play with the CPU... Please hit me up with a PM if you have time i will further describe some other specs and logic

Hmm have you tried downclocking ram Etc a divider? and see if the overclock still is possible? I've found that usually my memory degrades over time when pushed to far for 24/7 which is why i just try to run at rated speeds w/tight timings instead of max OC on ram. I started doing this after having a few sets of TCCD and crucial ballistix take a dump on me. eventually the memory issue reared its ugly head in the form of BSOD's and what i like to call the memtest blood red screen of memory death. After replacing ram cpu clocked right back up in my case.

no i have not.... i can try that.... i will try 2500mhz CPU 200mhz RAM.
this is TCCD... probably the crappiest TCCD i've ever seen.. wont even do 275 tho... no matter the timings.

It went from 2600mhz stable to 2000 stable!! Maybe its the motherboard. Have you checked the motherboard for popped/bad caps?? I cant see how a cpu could lose overclockability that much. Give the divider thing a try.

Don't even try 200 ram try underclocking ram to completely eliminate it from the equasion. etc use the followin settings 10 x 250 x4xht 133mem divider 2-2-2-5. that should underclock ram enough to see if the cpu is still stable.

my ram used to be stable @ 300mhz easy (and i do mean easy, didn't have to try that hard to get that)
now it wont even run 250 divider or no divider without having problems
my cpu needs more and more volts
and the reason i think its my CPU is because it keeps needing more volts to run, not to mention these sticks were always well within the voltage range and i still think i had some mhz left in the tank

Which single CPU computer from XS has the highest daily average?

K0nsl had a rac of 1400 with his 4400+. Unfortunately its down atm :/
Was in the top 10 of top producers. Dunno if that was the best single cpu xs rig.

Atm i think Its mine. the dual 265's have me beat and the rest are merged taking into account that there bench scores are quite lower than mine. Im at over 1450 RAC now so.

So what are you clocked at to get 1450 RAC? I'm trying to get an idea in my head of what clocks correspond to what RAC, i just need a few points to establish the graph in my head ;)

3.0 gig for 24/7 use with 2 x 1 gig ocz plats EB ddr 500 extremely tight timings. but its more of what your bench performance is which is on average at this speed 4162/12,700 that determines how much work/credit is done.

alright well i benched 4223/12757 so i'm coming after ya soon, need some time for the initial production to get going so i can form a RAC.
There it goes, 3 days and my RAC is 1100, let's give it some more time, maybe kick it up to 3.1 Ghz :P

your gonna need more than that. My new X2 3800 does 2.9 on air/water. Its an LDBHE and its going on phase. My 3 gig chip does 3.0 on phase but barely 2.7 on air/water. Better shoot for 3.2 :) Still waiting on stephen for my 4600 also, that is supposed to do 3.2 with 1.5v 3.5-6 with more.

hmm it seems your bench is a little low. I broke 13k at 3100. Just don't like the voltage required to run that speed 24/7.

OPTY 170 vpmw
OCZ platnium EB DFI NF4
Rosetta stable @ these settings but low score. 3181 float 10099 int.
9/10 divider trying to keep ram below 260.
Any suggestions on next step to get scores higher.

The UPMW 170 does 3852/11587 at 2750 with 1.45 Vcore GBLA 2x512 1:1
This is a better cpu it will go higher less Vcore. May have to switch ram over.
Havn't had time LBM is about to catch us.. well i have time now :)

i need a better CPU to pair up with my ram.....its underachieving right now by about 90-95mhz.......
