The amount of time your computer spends on a WU can now be changed in the Rosetta settings on the website. I believe in your case, this would be determined by whatever the leaders of your subteam have selected.

Ah, so spending numerous days on one wu is ok?

what's the node # of the computer this is happening on? I'll check it to see how long of WUs your getting.

If that is what the setting is on, then yes. You should be getting compensated accordingly for the amount of time your computer is spending on the WU.

Possible settings are:

2 hours
4 hours
6 hours
8 hours
10 hours
16 hours
1 day
2 days
4 days.

You should ask which setting your computer is using. If you want more frequent stat updates, you should request something lower. I personally use 2 hours.

That one has it set to spend 4 hours on each WU. Are you sure that BOINC is set to run all of the time, and not just when the computer is idle? Because the % of time work is being allowed when BOINC is running is around 35%. You might want to check on that.

Delirious, you are set up the same way I am (home, 4 hrs) and I am uploading almost as fast as I finish them.

What's the name of the offending WU and how far is it (time, percent done) please.

Sorry i went ahead and dumped all the wu i had and uploaded new ones. they were at 37% or so, before i went to bed they had just started.

Under the command menu its set to 'run always'.

Seems to be running fine now.
