Has ATI given up on the AGP market or what? Anyone know or think there will be a x1800/1900 cut down for AGP? Maybe the X1800GTO, no? If ATI doesnt release anything soon I think they have screwed me (er and all AGP users) over. :slapass: Still, I can buy a 7800GS if they dont release anything buy April.

Also, is there any hope for a 7900GS in AGP?

Any one happen to see a roadmap for AGP?

Companies, unfortunately for you, like to make money.

And considering how poorly the 7800GS is selling, they probably haven't seriously considered a 7900 or a X18/1900 series card.

AGP is essentially an obsolete bus. Its part of the way technology grows, its not ATI's fault. The market for AGP users is very small because if you dont have $ for a new MB (PCI-e) its unlikely you have $ or desire to buy a new video card.

I though the 7800GS was selling well? Most of the EVGA ones on newegg sold out. ATI should atleast make a 1800GTO to AGP to compete with the GS.

dito some of my regular hardware store in the netherlands and germany sold them out very quickly wich kinda amazed me.

ofc they wont be able to keep the sales up with that card cause AGP is dead.
