Hi guys,
I bought an x800xl(it was bought when I bought all my parts for my new system) and at the time I knew it probably wouldn't OC too well but bought it because it gives pretty good performance for the price. However, I haven't actually tried OCing mine yet, not 100% done with building my system. How much can I expect to be able to OC this card stock? With ramsinks? With a new HSF and ramsinks?
Also, the best drivers? I would guess Omega's but not sure.
And, what would be a good choice for a better cooler? Something easy to install and not too heavy would be nice...

Wow... You guys really don't like me? Either that, or this forum is slower than molasses climbing a steep hill in winter. Why have I gotten very few replies in any threads?

it might have something to do with the fact that you seem to keep answering your own questions within the post in which make them.
As for best heatsink, that is about a dozen debates in a row. Arctic Cooling or Zalman you choose.

I really faught with mine vmods, better cooling the thing just wont stay stable at anything past 432 on the core. Ive given up and just run the thing at stock all the time now.

See what ive reached.
You can expect any more since x800xl is a Lower Power Card.
Theres just enough Voltage running through the Core.
It has no PCI-e Power Connector if you noticed. :).
Ive reached only 427/1080 on Stock cooling.
Running @ 425/1080 now.
