X2 3800+ .. but which one ???

I am able to buy one of these cpu's ...

can you tell me whether they are good/bad ?
and which one would you prefer?

I dont know how well they overclock but they are the exact same chip apart from the batch number being 1 number apart. They will most likely perform the same.

I would either buy both and see how they clock or buy niether. It is kind of a sorry thread with the same stepping and only one number apart.:(

I'll only buy them, if they're able to hit 2.6 @ 1.45Ghz @ both cores
or 2.8 @ 1.5v (max) @ both cores :)

Well you dont really have the option of only clocking one core. Just do a coin flip, and come back when you need some help picking out semprons.
