Hey Im new but you guys must know what your talking about with those 3DMark scores...
basically I did the X1800XT PE flash and it has gone really wrong, the card definitely hasn't buggered itself permanently but I can't get back to the winflash :P
Someone mentioned putting a PCI card in.. but could you possibly go through it in more detail, you mean like a really ancient PCI graphics card?
I'd really appreciate the help with this thanks

You'll need to use another video card to hotflash the problematic card. Usually a PCI card is one to use, because they are cheap and a lot of people have one lying around. Instead of using another expensive PCI-E video card to do it. Both should work fine from what I understand. Wait until someone comes online with a better idea on how to do it though, as I have no idea how to go about it.

Thanks :P Im just hoping I don't have to do anything intricate in the bios as I can only catch the odd bit of text through the corruption

Ok I put in a 4000 MX and as long as the X1800 isn't in, it runs fine. However when I put the X1800 in, the 4000 stops responding and the system tries really hard to use the rady untill it finally bluescreenofdeaths just before it get into windows. I can't see anything in the BIOS about running 2 cards. Does anyone know how to flash a graphics card on a boot disk is that even possible? Is it RMA time?
Edit: the card is busted :P so looks like Im running an MX 4000 for a while... at least it runs Doom 3!
