Should I get a 6800GS now or wait till the prices drop on the 7800GT?

EDIT Even though I relly want to get rid of the crappy PCI video card I will wait until the new cards come out.

what is your max budget and how long are you willing to wait?

My absolute max budget is $300 but I don't need the best just something that will last for years to come because I plan to keep it till it becoem obsolete.I am willing to wait up to 2 months maybe 3 if it relly heps other than that I relly wanna get rid of my PCI vide card.The only reason I upgraded was to get a good video card that wil last.Might as well splurge but I wanna wait for the new ones.Any chance they'll be in my budget?

In overclock 6800GS will overtake nonclocked 7800GT. So its better i think to wait dropping prices on the 7800GT.

at the same time the 7900GT will be priced at $299 and would be superior than The 7800GT.. and should be out shortly
