:)
Actually, that doesn't necessarily mean its' good OCer, but probably means it is impervious to the cold bug, for the most part. It is a week seven and the latest one I've seen. Now, to find out how it does... :)
Anybody know if UPMW is a good thing, or is that a pretty hazy thing. I've had all sorts of letters in that 4 letter part, before, but don't know if there is any signifigance with these.
I got it at Fry's with a probable POS ECS, but for $302, total, what the heck. I can always return it no questions asked, within 15 days.

Nice CPU!!!
I got a LDBHE from Fry's during the Black Fridays sales and it will do 2.5GHz with stock volts.
It is an RPAW, i do not remember the week (05XX)

I think its about time you get that mach up and working to get that chip under some cold. Call up chilly1 if you have some problems.

Well, that is what I was thinking when I went to Fry's. To see if they'd bring an LDBHE out from their cage. If they hadn't I wouldn't have gone for it. Hell, I have an X2 3800+ enroute from Newegg; ordered it Friday. Was hoping for an LDBHE. Now, I might end up with two. Hopefully this is a good OCer. Gonna worry about whether I can get the ECS running later. Right now it is time to shut down this machine I'm on and take out the SC 3800+ and stick this X2~3800+ in this Ultra-D.
Getting the Mach up wasn't a problem. Keeping it up was. After anywhere between 15 minutes and an hour or two Winders would just kind of lock up. Would have to give it a hard reboot, or turn it off as I couldn't move the mouse or do anything with it. I figure it was my lack of experience in condesation proofing, perhaps.
At any rate, that is the idea in me seeking out an LDBHE; to use it in the Prommie.

My 3 gig chip is an RPDW. week 39. As far as UPMW its the same as my XPMW the first letter has to due with the day it was packaged or something to that effect. Not really to important. If you need help with setting up an old mach1 with no condensation on 939 gimme a PM. Mine runs 24/7. If your interested in selling it also gimme a buzz as i need one to Mod and don't want to have downtime on the one im using now.

Funny, I passed on the sale this time.... I will be in need of an X2 soon tho.
Sitting next to me I have 4 motherboards and only one X2.
DFI Venus, Sapphire 'grouper' Pure Innovation, DFI RS482 mATX, and that same ECS KT??? pos that you have ser.
Waiting on a case for the Venus to go in under water (also have those parts sitting here).
Although more expensive, I am only building watercooled machines from now on. Quiet is beautiful....

Thanks, chew*. I'm probably definitely going to need some kind of help. Did that sound like a condensation problem to you? I mean I didn'y do any "proofing" to the board or socket. Just made sure the seal string was right, front and back. This is a Mach II.
Anyway, back to the chip. It is looking good so far. Can't say the same for the Mushkin Blk Lvl II PC3500. Lots of errors in Memtest @250, 245, 240 and 235. Not sure which stick or both. Pulled them out.
On the other hand, the TwinMOS sticks I've never really checked out too much before are doing just fine. At 265 ~ 2-2-2-5. That was just the last place I left them, when I decided to take a break and got on this machine to check out the forum. Gonna take them higher and see where they top out. Pretty strong sticks, it seems.
The LDBHE chip is at 265 x 10 w VCore at 1.425 in BIOS. CPU-Z is reading VCore at 1.392, Everest is saying 1.39. Sensor is off by .35 I guess.
Idle temps are 30 PWM, 31 CPU, 42 chipset
Load temps are 42, 48, 43
I think I like this chip, it shows promise.
Liking this TwinMOS, too. Old school stuff, but for some reason, not too much use on 'em. A friend gave 'em to me, he wanted larger sticks and bought some kind of crap Samsung. He only ran them at 215 for the few months h had them. I was like "are you sure?" He said yes, "thanks for helping me with my computer stuff"

yah for a 24/7 rig you need to do better than that. And shutting down can be a symptom. mach 1 mach 2 preety much the same so.
