7800GT or x1800xl/xt

I wanna buy a new card but I could not decide so far.
Alternate offers a Connect3D Radeon X1800XT (http://www.alternate.de/html/shop/productDetails.html?artno=JAXB13&) with only 256mb for 333€ (about 370$ i think) and a xt with 512mb for 349€ (about 420$) (http://www.alternate.de/html/shop/productDetails.html?artno=JBXY01&). But in the past i had much trouble with ati cards .... or is a Gainward BP78GT512 GS GLH (http://www.alternate.de/html/shop/productDetails.html?artno=JBXW25&) the better choise?

The ATi X1800XT in either 256MB or 512MB are faster than a 7800GTX by a fair distance - get the ATi. It will beat the 7800GT 512MB comfortably :). Also, I recommend the 512MB for higher resolutions like 1280x1024 and above.
