Now that the Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe is out, I am finally going to finish out my system. The question is, which would be better?
I am in the position of being able to buy a X1800XT for $360 with my ATI EPP
Instead I could get 2 X1600XT's for around $320
I am planning on putting a Thermalright V-1 Ultra on either of the choices.

This is the reason I am not sure about what to do, I am attaching this system to a 720P projector, so the highest resolution I will be running is 1280x720.

I know that with the Dual X1600XTs I could run the higher 14x AA but my question is would they be powerful enough to drive new games at that resolution?

I dont have the extra 500 bucks for a X1800XT master card right now so I would be at 4x AA with the single X1800XT.

But in a few months I could add it if I wanted to. I think I prolly should go for the X1800XT as it seems to be faster in most things and as fast in everything else compared to the X1600XT, BUT if the X1600XTs will run what I want at the resolution and allow the high AA with a good frame rate, I think those are what I should do.
