It looks it to me, I dont have any evidence though. I am almost 100% sure that no card has had four cores yet though.

02-28-2006, 05:50 PM
well it wasnt mass produced thats for sure. but can u see hints of photshop?

Aphex_Tom_9
02-28-2006, 06:05 PM
hehe, yes it is, look carefully. that card should only have 2 cores on it, 2 of those cores are copies shifted over.

eddieate
02-28-2006, 06:15 PM
hmm the second 2 cores dont look like they'r actually on the card.
But damn! that things huge, even if its not real.

Anyone notice the bottom 2 cores have 7 ram chips and the top 2 have 6

The biggest flaw is you can clearly see traces not leading anywhere. It's clearly fake.

Looks more like paintshop pro'd to me :)

Creative little job, major flaws though, lol.

JaCk0

it's fake, a ram chip of more and rare brightness effects.

i think i read something in max pc about a card like that.

but it looks pretty photoshopped to me.
just look at the difference in brightness.

copy one of either core to a new layer, move it over the core next to it, and change blending mode of the new layer to "difference." Use your eyedropper anywhere and you will notice that the difference is 0, indicating photoshopped image.

That is a great tip, Thanks!

I'd go for 6 ram chips per set of cores.. they'd ask questions with 6 on one side, 7 on the other.

the reflection of the motherboard shining off the card is wrong, but other than that and the near identical reflections on the 2 cores its pretty clean. (p.s. you dont need a 3d app to help, do it straight from photoshop)

Mr. Tinker
03-14-2006, 07:15 PM
The reflection shown on the pcb is almost entirely from the original photo, and everything was lined up in the scene to the pixel. It is very accurate. I can send you the scene file if you want to check my methods.

einCe
03-14-2006, 09:32 PM
wrong was the wrong word..errr..yeah anyways, i meant off, look at the reflection on the first pic and then look at yours. the blue floppy plug isnt being reflected right. it looks like its just a blue cap or something like you cropped most of it out

03-15-2006, 07:17 AM
