I am going to build a new comp next month, and was wondering what hardware the community would have in it, just so i know where i should be lookin in terms of high end parts, i dont want to go over $1,000.

under 1g? crap, thats hard... go with amd, nvidia, 17-19" lcd, 250gb hard drive, a dvd+/- drive, a lian li pc-65 (if you can afford that), a psu with at least 500 watts, and I mean at least... also get a creative x-fi (the cheapest one), or an audigy 2 zs

mobo, i would get an asus, or a dfi, but on a budget, its hard to say, because i only reasearched the top of the line mobo's ;)
