Now that i have my new memory with its tighter timmings i was assuming i would get a higher score in 3dmark03. My old score was 13800 with my ADATA ram the bench was run @ 280mhz using 3-4-4-8-1t timmings.

My new ram i ran @ 232mhz using 2.5-3-2-5-1t timmings. I got a 13700 score. I checked game test 1 and my fps was only 313. In the other benchmark with my adata it was 332 my cpu score went down also from 800 to 730.

I decited to pump this ram to 250mhz it isnt 100% stable well game stable i get artifacts on my games (wierd tho 3dmark i didnt have 1 artifact) anyway my score was 13700 again. My fps went down on GT3-4 by 1 but that doesnt matter. My GT1 fps went up to 320.

I was told that 3dmark03 and 2k1 run better with tight timmings. So why is my ADATA running faster then this ram with super loose timmings. Is 3dmark affected by pur memory speed then just timmings? Cuss from what im seeing it is....

I ran AquaMark and got a score of 71k. I dunno if thats high or not i forgot what my old score was and since there website is gone i guess thats my new high score.

I will run 3dmark01 ina sec to see if i get higher fps in the test and hopefully a higher score then 28k "my old score". I was assuming to get 14k with my new mem on 03 and over 30k on 01.. :/

I can only assume that from these results thats my games were getting higher FPS with my old ram then this I havent noticed anything tho.

I ran 3dmark01 and same thing my fps was about 1-10 lower on all the tests than my old score using the adata.

well, your old ram was running faster than what you have now,
the simple explenation is faster ram beats out ram running slower with tighter timings

Yea but i always had people with tighter timmings beating me in 3dmark even tho my oc was higher. Iv read reviews and other stuff on this even people on the forum saying that tighter timmings were better..

maybe i shouldj ust return this ram iv had nothing but problems with it since day 1 anyway
