As you can see in my signature below all my scores seem to be right where they should be, BUT on 3DMark2005, does anybody know why is this?

I checked many times it is enabled, and when I disable it I get a lower score so I know crossfire was on or the scores would be the same. I don't get it crossfire works perfect for everything else I bench all but on 3DMark2005... To me it looks like that crossfire isn't the problem it's 3DMark2005 as that's the only benchmark having issues, any ideas? How are other people getting around this, cuz I seen really high scores in 2005 using X1900 CF?

Actually no that thread was for power issues with X1900's in crossfire, I don't have that problem anymore as the new PSU I got fixed that.

So nobody else is having this issue when running 3DMark2005? I checked and I'm running the lastest version of 3DMark2005, hmm maybe I should reinstall it...

I am gonna say its your CPU, because in crossfire things are really CPU bound.
How about, try 1280x1024 with 6xAA and 16xAF HQ and test with crossfire enabled and disabled.

I have this same problem and PM'd Macci. He is yet yo reply.
2K5 acts like CF is not enabled as I should be in the top 5 with my clocks.
We are not CPU bound, in fact our wings of fury smokes any AMD score on the ORB.

Wings of Fury is one test (highly depends on cache size and speed and happens to run very well w/ Intel) and 3DMark05 is another test. 3DMark05 just isn't very P4 friendly benchmark as you can see.
What's the highest SLI + P4 score you can find from the ORB?

You dont get GT3 of 102FPS without crossfire (Overklokk's single card WR run with XTX @ 938/958 produces GT3 of 85.3FPS).
Your GT2 doesn't seem to be in line with mikeguava's score (looks like its way too low) so something is not right there. Driver settings like they should? CLI.exe running (disabling it may not give you the optimal CF mode)? GT2 shouldn't have much to do with driver settings thou as its 100% CPU bound test with X1900CF (one card will score basically the same).
I dont have a P4 test system to play with so can't produce any comparison numbers, I did test a 955XE+i975 at 4.8GHz once and it had problems reaching 13k w/ X1900 CF..
Presler 05 speed does seem too low if you compare it with the results we see in 2001SE and 06 w/ it. I don't know what's up with that.

Possible dual 8x PCIE problem?
Im not sure if I had AI on or off, most likely on. Is there a way to change render more? super tiling vs afr vs scissor?

Yeah I was thinking that too man, but then I shouldn't be getting 10,447 points in 3DMark 2006 if theres a problem with the dual 8x slots right? As that would effect all benchmarks rather then just one, so I don't think switching to a dual 16x board would help much at all if any. Oh and I have tried with AI off, basic, and advance, but nothing helped in 3DMark 05. Thanks for replying guys for a second there I thought I was the only one lol.

That was actually a serious reply. The driver chooses on of two types of AMR per aplication and it uses the name of the executable to choose the best. As 3Dmark06 works fine in your case you should give it a try to rename it.
This was also the trick to make SLi work with 3Dmark01 in the beginning. A person renamed it to 3Dmark03 or something like that. Can't remember who he was though.

Wow awesome man I didn't know that, I'll try it out ASAP after I get off work today. I hope it works! :D

Make a copy of 3dmark05, rename it and run it. 3dmark05.exe must be in the same folder or it won't execute.
Also, I just got this x1900xt and I am playing with it right now, seems that Performance Mipmap detail gives a better 05 score than High Performance (300 marks).

Yeah I'll make a copy of it then rename it in the same folder when I get home, thx man. Hmm I'll have to try that Mipmap setting too.

Well I did what you said, but it didn't help, still get anywhere from 13k to 14k. Thanks anyways tho :( Any other ideas out there??

I really don't have any ideas left. It seems that's the problem lies in the cpu as Crossfire seems to be enabled looking at your GT3 score. When I'm in a situation like you I just try everything. It probably won't help but you could turn off HT on the cpu to see what this does.
