View Full Version : ATI HDTV Wonder giving me nothing but trouble

Ive tried everything, just completly reinstalled windows and installed video drivers direct X and the drivers / software stright off ATIs site, still getting the same error

DTV Wonder analog and digital tuner still will not install right...always gives an error after installing drivers and it device manager reports "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing."

When i try to start TV or DTV on the ATI pannel it will give me a "Unable to start TV. The TV player failed to intilize"


I had this problem when i recived the card on 3 diffrent computers and RMAed it. Got it back from RMA and now i run into the same problem. This is really starting to tweak me....not sure what to do...

It could be a sound issue.
I installed a progidy instead of my soundblaster, and had nothing but trouble with my hauppauge TV tuner card.
I reinstalled my soundblaster, and the TV card worked nicely again.
Somehow the sound drivers on my progidy f.... my Tv tuner.

I have the HD Wonder, never a problem except for the time I tried it on NF4 with 7800GTX and I was not able to get it to work.

I made a post when I ran into that problem.

ATI+nVidia on the same system is an EXTREMELY BAD IDEA..

I bet you a Cookie that if you put an ATI card instead.. the problem will instantly vanish...

i have a similar issue but its with dma for the hardrives. it wont let me fix teh issue.
