Will these new integrated graphics provide decent quality and speed, or is this just a feature for bragging? On-board video just doesn't have the power a video card has.

no its one fo teh requirements for windows vista i think.
so if Intel wants to keep selling chipsets with onboard grafix theyl have to meet the requirements for vista.

I wonder will this chipset have DRM features ?
Intel`s integrated grafics is prett good if you not gaming. It`s just suits all other needs for regular PC user or office machine.

It is embedded to the Gills with DRM.. and I don't like it...

i hope someone at ATI makes compare video with an idiot with thick glasses opening up his computer saying "I got the new SM3.0 card dude !!!"...and it starts lagging like a crippled snail :p:

SM3.0 does not guarantee performance, it just guarantees that you'll enjoy the scenery in 3dmark06 a tad better as you're chugging along at 1fps...a complete joke. Almost bought an X1600 cos of the hype

.
that would be so stupid. what about x800 users? lol the vista desktop will become a benchmark all by itself, with fps and temperature monitoring :stick:
