It`s just 3D prototype - but if conception will please people then someday we might have new kind of PC :)

I`m just curious what kinda cooling systems will be used with such tiny cases for hardware :p:

Well something like that already exits.. it is called interchangable parts and we use it every day here at XS..
and with all respect it is kind of ugly.. Too damn boxy

:banana::banana::banana:ing exactly! The whole idea that made computers so great was that the PCI (Or if you want to go back a bit, ISA) bus worked with any component you put in it, no matter who made the card or your motherboard, everything worked. None of this weird mobo compatability with the PCI-express bus, you need to have certian chipsets to enable certian functions, only Nvidia cards work in Nvidia SLI chipsets and excetera.

PCIe is just fine.. it is the requirements of SLi and Crossfire that are bull:banana::banana::banana::banana:.. but you can take any PCIe card and put it into a PCIe slot and it will work every time...

actually Crossfire support on BSD and Wonderful 3D Linux drivers would touch me..:slobber:
But things far way and most likely going to die on the drawing board do little to wet my appetite..

you know there some open source Linux ATI drivers...but they carry a warning saying they could posibly blow your video card to hell

I know I've worked on them and their 3D quality is Horrible.. the sad fact is a PCI Trident (any version you like) does better 3D work in linux than an X1800XT..
and I know this because I tried..
But They still fold like bad azz mofos in linux...

I can see it now...

Psssst....let's go over to the new guy's cubicle and steal the processors of his shelf. Hehehehe.

And of course, the receptionist who tries to plug in a Webster's to turn on Spellcheck.
