eh, I was all set to pick up some really chip older electronics from Japan come April, but looks like the law isn't really all that bad. A bit silly perhaps, but certainly not the death knell of the 2nd hand electronics market.

Geez, never knew about the used-car law. Thats insane. Charging more for the inspection that what the repairs cost to force you to buy a new car? If thats not corporate and goverment corruption I don't know what is...
