Hello folks,
today i recieved my new RDX200......everything is/was fine.....no problems during boot-ups and win-installation was possible, too.

but when i started to overclock this thing goes wild!
i don't know why....but if i go above 250*10 (ram 1:1 bh-5) it just stops working :(
with a divider i can handle 2,8ghz (same oc with ultra-d).

but 1:1 i can't run 250*11 or something like that.
i really tried every freakin'option in the bios but nothing seems to help at all!

and now i need some good advice.
1) do all these nb/sb voltages improve oc? what exactly do they affect on?
2) maybe my ramtimings are wrong....what did you set for 2*512mb bh-5?
3) any other "special tricks" i should know about to get this thing to work?
4) it crashen 3 windows for now. how could i stop this thing killin' my wins?

so every helpful advice is needed ;)

sry 4 my bad engl.....

cu and thx!

edit: this was my highest 1:1 for now:

Alright Mate,

First off you'll have to play with the memory timings some more these boards are alot different from the Ultra D's

First thing check you have the latest bios as I was having loads of problems with the original, random shutdows/reboots & random freezes!!!

Make sure you have LDT @ 4x or 3x

Don't expect the same overclock as you had on your old mobo:( I swapped from SLI-DR to CF-DR & lost 100Mhz, 3.5Ghz games stable to 3.4Ghz game stable:(

i just got this board and like you, am going crazy, this board is a picky bastard when it comes to timings and i still havent gotten it figured out.

I've had the board 4 months & still can't get to where I was before but I've got an FX60 coming so hopefully I can get 3.4Ghz with that as these boards are supposed to be good with dual core:confused:

Heres a shot of my mem settings
http://www.livinglarge.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/mem.PNG

These settings are good upto 260Mhz 3.3V on mine

Drive strength combos 8/Auto & 7/3 I found work best with bh-5

Make sure to enable High Speed PLL, and as said above, turn down the LDT multi. Mine wouldn't run over 235 until I turned down the LDT. Now I have no problem running 312x9.
Until I get the watercooling back together I'm running 289x9 on my 165 with stock voltages on everything except RAM with ZERO problems. 2GB Ballistix with all timings set to AUTO (just need a stable rig for now, I'm holding out for RD580 to tweak).

i'd try max async of 8 as well.

My memory an RDX hates MAL of 7ns, start off with some fairly loose timings, here are my timings with UTT-CH

a tref 3120 is 200mhz 15.6us in A64tweaker, The old stuff really likes that tref, and I do not know why :/
