Hi all,

I have an ATI X1900XTX and I cant seem to clock it at all. I am using the latest ATI drivers 6.2 and ATI tool. Now what ever clcok I set with ATI tool the card gets clocked back as soon as I run any tyoe of 3d benchmark. The weird thing is that is does the same if I use stock clocks and have ATI tool running. Clock for clock stock versus ATI tool set at stock is over 1500 points different on 3D mark 05 runs. I thought it may be a heat issue so I ran the card stock for 20 loops of 05 no throttling. I then tried one loop with ATI tool increasing the clock 2mhz and immediate drop in score and throttling. How can I get this card to clock without throttling back.

HELP!!

start/run/services.msc --> disable ATIHotKeyPoller, that's it.

HELP!!

so when you over clock with ATI tool when 3dmark finished your settings are back to 500/600?

if this is the case go back to msconfig and re-enable "cli". reboot try again that will solve that part of the problem.
