Tried lowering the voltage? Is your memory stable at higher speeds?

What are your temps?

voltage of the ram or cpu? ... if its the ram then yes .. i can get it stable to about 260mhz

temps ... currently idle ~34 load ~42 ... keep in mind my room is usualy at 29'C

PS im planning on removing the IHS on the x2 this week :D

a couple of suggestions on your genie bios settings.

try 12 for trfc
try 3072 for tref
try 128 for idlecycle limit -- 64 is too fast for the x2 memory controller me think.
bypass max should be 7(default). i never change this setting as it's recommended by folks from dfi street forum.

whatever you do, please do not take off the ihs. an expensive x2 is a terrible thing to waste :). good luck ocing :).

change drive strength to 3 or at least an odd number. Odd = weak drive strength. Even = normal. Read this guide please. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28049

yeah i know i have not fully decided to remove it ... but iv seen alot more sucessfull attempts at it than not .. and i think im compitant enought ... im using a broken sock939 board to keep the chip in this way i wont break any pins and i have an array of rubber bumpers once its off to keep the HS flat and stable ... il make up my mind 2moro if im doing it for sure

n.b., trfc to 12 is only going to make the system not post....beware.

Set TRC to 8 (not going to help to get higher MHz, but is the ideal setting for your tras and trp).

Have you tested and confirmed your memory can go past 240 3-3-2-6?

And with temps that low, I guess leave the volts where they are.

Keep in mind the expert's have a temp bug so those temps are lower than actual.
