The old stuff was 5/4/4/15 was it not? Things are getting worse not better. :(

Well that was kind of pathetic.. DDR2 lately has been going down hill..

UGH 5-6-6-15 timings.... I suppose 2 gigs at 1000Mhz would rock even with those timings though...

Yeah just in case you need to run 2:5 at stock fsb... lmao

heck you would need to have 5-5-5-10-T1 or better at 500Mhz to compete with 2-2-2-5-T1 at 200mhz...Those timings are freaking pathetic

Timings are a different game on intel and with ddr2. Its completely different.

TCCD or UTT DDR that does 800Mhz 3-3-3-5 timing? You would be top dog in bandwidth?

Knowing what modules run at what timing if as easy as going into bios and adjusting them.

SPD for high compatability so dont let the numbers fool you into thinking that is thebest it will do.

....I hope they can do better. And I hope they work well with the upcoming A64s.

Do you have any info regarding what they can realistically do?

if you can get TCCD to do 800Mhz you would be a god.. regardless of timings..

I prefer Corsair 8000UL. :D Too bad D9 fat body are discontinued... I like to see over 500 4-3-2-4... Sure none DDR1 can beat that.

looks like 1000mhz is just a starting point

tccd does 700Mhz 3-5-5-15 but it's not faster than 600MHz 2.5-4-4-8

i thought someone got closer to 800mhz? i dont think it was stable but still pretty cool. even at those lax timings.

I prefer 5400UL but I think they are the same D9s than in 8000UL. Anyways I think I´ll give this new modules a try, momma always said RAM was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

Yes, they are the same chips, but as you said, its like a box of chocolates.:D

most Corsair and Mushkins high end mems (i.e. 5400UL) can do 950-1000mhz with CL4 3-2-4 as i've seen form the forums.

Yes, but only based on D9 fat body chips. They can do over 1000 4-3-2-4.

you are thinking of DDR800
you can not get DDR400 chips at 200mhz to 800mhz.. that is a 4 fold increase

yes i am thinking DDR 800, or 400mhz ddr which is 800mhz effective.

how does that change anything? :stick:

did you miss this?

this is what i was responding too. I think we all know the difference between clockspeed and effective clockspeed you really dont need to nitpick me thanks.
