ok right now my pc seems to stop restarting and im kinda bored of the slowness
so i plan on OC'in
but to b honest, i have no experience on OC'in and i have no idea how to do it, so ya, guys plz help me out :)
heres my sig:
AMD X2 3800+ Toledo Core
2GB , 2 x 1GB Kingston *VALUE RAM* timing: not sure
120GB WDD SATA HDD
ASUS A8N-SLI mobo
2 x Evga 6800GS 256mb
stock fan, wit 2 case fans
535W PSU Enermax
the temp on my X2 3800+ seems to be always @ 35 degrees :confused:
so ya help me out guys
*note* i also haf 2 x 512MB Kingston Ram sitting here, not sure if i should stick dat into the pc as well, so ya.. plz give dis lil guy help wit OC'in :woot:
will post some progress after i get started and noe wat i am don :banana:

Although youre not using a DFI, this is just a great guide for OC'ing any AMD system:

thank you, i did look around for couple hours now but mostly everybody dat OC' X2 3800 are using DFI so i kinda feel like i bought the wrong mobo but ya jus want to see wat i can get wit my X2 3800
thanks tho =)

also i would like to know would it help if i change the timing on my ram??

Well there's nothing wrong with your mobo, it will OC just fine.

Maybe just not as far as a DFI could do but it depends on how far your chip will go in the first place. The Asus board has less options for giving more voltage and is perhaps a bit low on the max HTT you can run too. You'll have to see.
