Linky (http://www.channelregister.co.uk/2006/02/21/intel_core_duo_price_cuts/)

The T2600's price is set to drop from $632 to $423, a reduction of 33.1 per cent, the paper claimed. The T2500 will become $294, down 30.5 per cent from the $423 Intel charges for it today. The T2400's price will fall from $294 to $241, down 18 per cent.

The name missing from the list is the T2300, which currently costs $241, so that's presumably staying at that price point. Certainly, the chip is still present on Intel's Q2 roadmap.

Prices dropin' and dropin' every day....:D

Might I suggest you try looking at its Floating point performance as you increase the size ;)

No end user tested retail version of this cpu yet. All info came from reviewer:)
So, the verdict is still hang in there somewhere;)

I just hope @ least it will work @-90C.....Performance will be up to the tweaker/bencher.
