Ok, I'd really like to get an Opteron 165 prime stable at this speed and voltage. I had 4.5 hours of (small FFT) dual prime before an error occured. I let CPU BURN K7 run with affinity on the failing core (core 1) for 12-15 hours I'd say. Now I ran the same test and got an error in just thirty minutes.

Ideas? What should I try for burn in?

Also, I did have a pretty large desk fan blowing into my case (door off) during both the testing and the burn in.

You shouldn't really be concerned. If a setup is prime stable for 5 hours it is very possible for it to fail even in 20 minutes. You have to prime it for 5 hours multiple times to be sure.

Keep burning in, at first it always seems to become less stable but it gets better as you go on.

My 165 used to be stable for 19mins at 300x9 stock volts, now it's been going 3 hours and only stopped because I had to switch my sound card out. This is after 1 8 hours burn in session and then a weekend long session while I was away
