Bout to order my memory, i last question.

Im about to order some G.skill ram but the thought that what G.skill tech said about the HX and the ZX ram not being what it used to be is kinda hurting my decision.

Last time i order Memory i got a 1gb kit of the Geil Golden dragon ram and it turned out to be really bad despit the reviews. I ended up getting a refund and not ordering any more ram.

So my last choice is to buy the HX brand and Hope itll do @ least 240-250mhz @ the 2.5/3-3-2-6-1t timmings.

Or get the HZ Pc4000 brand with the samsung UCCC chips that im sure will overclock quiet nice but with pretty loose timmings.


I need some help G.skill tech are you sure the HX brand isnt what it used to be like ? I dont wanna end up having to return the ram

Im not asking for a garuntee, my question is the ram good or not. You told me they test it @ 250mhz, but you also said it doesnt overclock good anymore. So which is it ?

well you should really check the date of each post...

when i said HX is not good, that is about at around Oct, Nov

then we found out BE-6 is very unstable so we change to CE-6 and tested on DDR500 for each kit. :)

Ah ok, well i got paid today so Ill try it out. What do you think about the single sticks ? The single 1gb stick and not the pair of 1gig's.

I only have enough money to buy 1 1gb of the HX
