Tell me about OCZ 2GB Plat Edition ver1.0

Ive been reading these boards for a bit and am confused between plat rev#2 and regular plat.

I just purchased the ocz 2gb platinum edition ver#1.0 OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K

What chips do these use and what can i expect from them? Max voltage i have is 2.8v . My mobo is the MSI K8N NEO4 Plat SLI

but the links they have are not from very reliable sources.. plus they don't mention the chips.. I would personally return them and atleast get version 2.0
