I can get my core upto about 560MHz on stock cooling but its the ram that is acting weird.

If i bump the ram up from 450mhz to 500, no artifacts in ATI tool but i get weird blue squares in nearly every 3D Program. The amount of squares increases with mem clock. Like if I clock my mem upto 560Mhz i get some blue artifacts in Fear along with some yellow ones. I don't understand why I get artifacts at 500 in every 3d prog except Ati tool. I originally thought I had 2.0ns Ram which the max is 500Mhz at stock volts. But i looked at my ram chips and they ended in 16 so i am asuming that is 1.6ns? Input would be apreciated.

LOL that reads funny :D , you overclock your mom?? :D

anyway, have you checked the traces, things like this are usually caused by broken traces or just dodgy ram.. (what happens at stock clocks also?)

well isn't it obvious? you're pushing your ram further than it can go. ati tool is a good tool fo overclocking but its artifact tester is no where near real-world at all. this could be from your ram not getting enoughm voltage to run at the higher speeds, your ram overheating, or your rams limits.
if you're looking for a performance boost try unlocking the extra pipes, if you get wierd errors then relock them but if not then you'll geta very fast performance boost.
